What's New.....

Well I've come over a bit country!  This lovely dresser is just in and I couldn't resist displaying this country kitchen range on it! I am hankering after a house in the sticks where I can have chickens and pigs! One day, I hope!  This dresser comes in white only but it could easily be transformed with some Annie Sloan paint.

I loved this mirror when I saw it!
It would be great for those "bad hair days" (of which I have many) just close the shutters!

I thought that upstairs was crying out for an injection of colour, so I took a gamble and ordered a bright red leather chair. Wow, it looks fab!  It has a bit of a retro vibe and is actually very comfortable.  A great addition to an interiors scheme that needs a shot of colour and the classic styling gives it impact as a stand alone piece.

Another statement piece is this rather grand easel mirror. It is huge!  It comes complete with the easel, all you need you do is find a great space for it!

For the Birds...

Looking around the shop I noticed there are quite a few feathered friends in stock at the moment, so I've decided to do a wee "featurette of feathers"! (I know, it's the weather, damp rot of the brain)

Sweet vintage postcard design coasters, 4 different birds on each coaster. Coaster have proven to be a good seller, a great gift to take when visiting!

These boxes have a tile insert, again with four different bird designs.

Whooo's this little fella?  A rather sweet door stop, that's whooo! They come in twooo different designs, makes it difficult toooo choooose!

These Lovebird tea-light holders remind me of Kirsti's blog!
It's the Live/Laugh/Love sentiment of course.

Ever popular chickens and cockerals.  I think that with more and more people keeping their own hens anything with a poultry motif is going to be popular!

But wait a minute...what's this?  These French Hen crates
seem to have more than just flowers in them......No, it can't be.  Not at this time of year, these little blighters don not want to stay in their box until October!

Gone Fishing?

No, I haven't been up to my waist in the River Dee, even though it's only a stone's throw from the shop!  This past month has been extremely busy with lots of new customers plus it's great as I now have regulars who visit every week!  The weather has been a mixed bag, well, mainly a soggy bag of drizzle & downpours! But I'm ever hopeful we will STILL get a summer.
Lots of lovely new things in the shop this week, the "Gone Fishing" signs are just in, perfect for this location!

Beautiful fabric covered notebooks  with a Peacock or Butterfly design with lace & ribbon detail .  A lovely gift that is sure to be appreciated.

This gorgeous valet stand in a distressed painted cream finish will leave you no excuse for not hanging up your clothes at the end of the day!  I particularly like the twist detail on the legs and the two little drawers for any pocket contents, which in my case would be string, screws, hair bobbles and the occasional rogue Polo mint!

I know, I know, Zebra print is not everyones cup of tea but isn't it fabulous!?  It's everything you are looking for in a statement chair, it's got animal print and leather with studs, it's bold, it's big and it's comfortable! If you want to give your interior scheme a centre piece, look no further!

Mind you this antler effect chair is definitely a conversation piece. What it lacks in the comfort department it more than makes up for in style!  It is a chair that demands attention and it looks like it would trip you up if you walked by it without so much as an admiring glance! Be warned!

Finally an inspirational note to leave you on.
